Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint takes players to the near future – the 25th century. The action takes place a certain time after the previous game. Players must travel to a vast island called Auroa, whose shores are washed by the Pacific Ocean. This isolated continent is controlled by a wealthy man named Jace Skell. The billionaire owns an entire corporation that develops robotic mechanisms – modern drones. These drones are used by the US Army for military purposes. A special laboratory is located on the premises, where artificial intelligence is developed, and the technology has been perfected. But all this wealth is now in the hands of the evil Cole Walker, who has taken over the entire space.
