Aliens vs. Predator is the third installment in the series of the same name, offering a choice of sides. Players can play as the following characters: a cadet, a xenomorph named Number 6, and a junior. The latter was named so by his handler. Selecting a member of a specific faction will trigger a storyline specific to the campaign. Missions vary depending on the warrior's class.
If the player becomes a paratrooper, the events unfold on a planet far from Earth called BG-386. The character landed due to an irreparable disaster when an orbital ship collided with the surface of a celestial body. The protagonist suffered injuries and was concussed. All crew members are dead or in critical condition. They must fight creatures that were unexpected guests. The soldier can wield a variety of weapons. In the shooter Aliens vs. Predator, the virtual protégé is initially given a VT-78 pistol, an M41A/2 pulse cannon, and a 3X-76 double-barreled shotgun for close-quarters combat. A large tank for the M260 flamethrower is also available. The M42C sniper rifle allows for the detection of enemy units even in the dark. The homing machine gun is an M99/B.
