Prototype is an adventure video game that follows Alex Mercer, a character with superhuman powers, such as the ability to transform his hands into claws, rocks, and all manner of shiny weapons.
Alex isn't actually human, but rather a collection of creatures that can change shape at will, create new weapons, or, strangely enough, transform into other creatures, and even gain consciousness. And then things fall apart.
Prototype allows players to enjoy many of the features that make video games unique, such as: changing and replicating the appearance of every creature they encounter while running through the Manhattan levels.
