Vikings, Wolves of Midgard, fairy tales, mythology, and history intertwine to create a new, unique, and engaging world. The game is designed for both single-player and online multiplayer. The action takes place in Midgard. Initially, you create your character, choosing their appearance, gender, class, and attributes. There are five classes named after gods (Thor, Odin, Loki, etc.), each with distinct additional skills and passive bonuses. Equipment consists of chainmail, a helmet, rings, an iron sword, and an axe.
Gameplay involves resource gathering, exploration, and dialogue. Eventually, the hero decides to take part in the War of the Gods and, at the same time, prevent the coming Ragnarög (the destruction of the gods and the entire world). Along the way, you'll find and open chests to gain wealth, collecting consumables and equipment of varying levels of upgradeability. You'll also need to upgrade buildings such as the forge, the skald's dwelling, and the runemaster's to further enhance your stats, skills, and abilities.
